Commissioning a cover

Yes. If you search for the thing you want and we do not have it, you can commission one. Our illustrator draws your idea, just for your cover.

It costs £24.99. That is the whole price of the notebook, not an extra on top of £17.99.

You write a brief in your own words, and you can attach up to 4 reference pictures. The pictures help more than a longer brief does: a photograph of the thing itself, and a drawing whose style you like, is usually plenty. Beyond a handful the references start contradicting each other and the illustrator is guessing which one you meant.

We ask you to allow 7–10 days from the day you order. That one number covers the drawing, the proof, your approval and the post, and for a commission it replaces the ordinary dispatch promise.
