Cover colours

13 colours at the moment: Chalk, Oat, Walnut, Grey, Onyx, Harbour, Peacock, Willow, Juniper, Naranja, Red, Bramble and Blush.

You pick the colour while you are making the design, and the preview redraws on that colour, so you see your design on the cover you are buying and not on a stand-in.

No colour is better than another, each just engraves in its own way. The engraving works by changing the leather's own colour, so on some covers it comes out darker, on others lighter, and on a few it's almost black. The black cover is the stealthy one: the engraving is a matte black against the shiny black leather, so it shows as the light moves across it. The preview draws each colour's own engraving tone, so try your design on a few and pick the one that reads the way you want.

The page edges are coloured too. On most notebooks they match the cover. A few are a deliberate contrast: Chalk has black page edges, Harbour has grey and Blush has orange.
