Discount codes

There is a box for it in your basket, under the items. Type the code in and the basket re-totals in front of you, before you go anywhere near paying.

You can use one code at a time. If a code is refused, the basket tells you which rule refused it, because "spend a little more", "that code has expired" and "that code has been used up" are three different next steps and only one of them is worth acting on.

A few rules codes follow:

• A minimum spend is measured on the items, not on the postage.
• A code can carry a start date, an end date, a limit on how many orders may ever use it, and a limit per customer.
• A code that has been switched off stops working even if its dates are still good.
